CONTEST ESSENTIALS
HOW MANY CONTESTANTS MOVE TO NEXT LEVEL?
For 2023-2024, all Areas may send two contestants for each contest type to the Division Contests this year, EXCEPT Division H Areas 91, 92, 94, 95, & 96 that may advance only one contestant for each contest type. At the Division level, each Division may advance only one contestant from each category to the District.

2023 -2024 Contest Events
The International Speech Contest is held every year. In addition to this, District 7, is holding a Table Topics Contest.
Each contest is a separate event with its own contestants and functionaries.

Why Speech Contests
Speech contests are a Toastmasters tradition. Each year, we seek to identify and recognize members with outstanding public speaking skills, and ultimately award the title of “World Champion of Public Speaking”.
