Club you belong to:
Clark County Toastmasters currently, although I have been a member of several other clubs at various
locations for various reasons (Club Coach, Club Mentor, Club Sponsor)

Generation (I.e. boomer, gen x etc.):
I am a pre-Boomer! FDR was President when I was born. I have shaken the hand of two US Presidents
– JFK and Joe Biden-- and two Washington Governors – Jay Inslee and Chris Whitman when attend-
ing fund-raisers.

Hometown or origin location:
Origin: Mt. Vernon, Illinois; I will host a Zoom Session with the HS Class of ’62 at noon on New Year’s
Eve, 62 years after graduation. I actually attended 4 High Schools while my family moved to Texas
and I returned my Senior year to Illinois and lived with my grandmother.

Current location you call home:
just north of Vancouver, WA near the Shops at Erickson Farm

Current immediate family structure (Single? Married? Kids? Pets?):
Married to Martha – 47-1/2 years and still counting. DINKs; When we first married, we had a cougar
living with us in our house.

Occupation:
Retired Computer Systems Engineer with a string of 6 professional career responsibilities

Hobbies:
Trivia night at the local pub; Bowling with Seniors; Toastmasters; Keeping up with Science research,
particularly Physics including Fusion Energy, Energy Storage and Investment opportunities.
