ce Sehorn—Division D Member of the Month

It is not just this last month. Bruce has stepped up to help so many of us
with audio visual assistance. He ran home to get a laptop for a member who
had forgotten hers once. He located and recorded sound effects then
practiced out side of the club with a member who did two Old Time Radio
shows. Bruce has served as our Sergeant at Arms and is currently our VP of
Public Relations. He mentors individuals and in general. He shared an
opportunity for our club to be involved in a program out at Mt. Hood
Community College. He is always willing to help. Bruce is appreciated at Columbia Center and I am
pleased to have the opportunity to recognize his dedication to our members. He is the quintessential
Toastmaster.

Other honored nominees for October were:

Alyson Wirth, Columbia Communicators—I would like to vote for Alyson Wirth of the Columbia
Communicators of Portland, Oregon (US Bank) for October Member of the Month. She is my mentor
and she helped me learn all of the roles. She offers to help evaluate me so that I get credit for
different roles that I do. She also helps me here and there whenever I have questions. She is really
helpful and instrumental to my success.
David Johnson, Columbia Center—As Area 52 Governor, David has excelled in filling the
responsibilities for his own area, and has also been tremendously helpful in assisting the other area
