As the Youth Leadership Coordinator you will contribute the positive impact Toastmasters has on our youth.
Responsibilities
The Youth Leadership Coordinator is passionate and energetic. Someone who strives to make an enormous impact with young people. The Youth Leadership Coordinator works closely with the Lt. Governor of Marketing to generate new Youth Leadership offerings by promoting the benefits of Toastmasters within the local community. The Coordinator is also responsible for overseeing the quality of all the Youth Leadership programs by mentoring other program coordinators.
Local Community
Set up Youth Leadership offerings within the local community while promoting the benefits of Toastmasters .
Mentoring
Youth Leadership is about mentoring, both the youth and other Youth Leadership leaders.
ACG Credit
Youth Leadership Coordinator can be used to fulfill the the Community Service requirement of the Advanced Communicator Gold (ACG) Toastmasters Award.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop awareness of Youth Leadership Programs
- Respond to inquiries and requests for programs
- Mentor Toastmasters interested in running programs
- Monitor existing programs to establish best practices
- Attend District & LGM meetings

Requirements
- Desire to make an impact on young people
- Excellent Interpersonal skills
- Proficient in PowerPoint, Word, and Excel
- Background with youth organizations or teaching field desired
- Experience with school systems a plus
There are no restrictions for this position other than being a Toastmaster in good standing.
