District 7 INTERNATIONAL Speech Contestants’ Briefing & Tech Check, 9:00 – 10:30am PDT (UTC -7)

Sometimes in life there are no “Do Overs.”  District 7 International Speech Contest is one of those life events without Do Overs.

International Speech Contestants are required to attend Zoom Tech Check.

The District 7 Zoom Masters will host these Contestants’ Tech Check.  We will focus on adhering to:

* Speech Contest Rulebook (Item 1171 rev 06/2022) pages 17-18.
* Video Recording Guidelines For District Online and Hybrid Speech Contests (Item 727 rev 10/2022)

ALL International Speech Contestants are required to:
* review, fill out & return the Speaker’s Certification of Eligibility and Originality (Item 1183 rev 11/2022) to the Contest Chair
* review, fill out & return the Speech Contestant Profile (Item 1189 rev 10/2020) to the Contest Chair
* download, review, fill out & return the Speech Contest Region Quarterfinals Video Release Form (Item 1193 rev 02/2021) to the Contest Chair

Forms are required at each level of contest.  Deadline for forms is 7 days prior to Contest date.  Late forms may result in the next winner from Division to rise up to compete.

District 7’s International Speech Contest will be held on Zoom MEETINGS PRO.  Thus the tech check will be held on the same virtual platform.
