Clark County Toastmasters hosts Open House

Face that upcoming job interview with more confidence after visiting Clark County Toastmasters’ Open House Tuesday, March 29. This one hour on-line live meetup will feature plenty of chances to practice speaking in mock interviews and tips to make sure this important job-seeking milestone is a success for everyone involved.

“Impromptu speaking can make anyone nervous,” said Stephana Johnson, president of Clark County Toastmasters. “Add to the mix the pressure of trying to land a job and there are some real challenges to making a good first impression.” Ms. Johnson emphasized that the club’s objective is to support everyone in developing confidence in speaking and that the current job market makes good interview skills crucial.

Clark County Toastmasters is offering the class through the Zoom app (link here at https://tinyurl.com/CCTC2021-22) at no charge for anyone interested in joining the session, which is scheduled for noon to 1 p.m.

The local club has been active in Clark County for more than 20 years and enjoys several high distinction awards for its membership training in leadership and communications.
