Speaker, Table Topics Master, Timer and Evaluator. By
conducting a fabulous energetic kickoff meeting attendees will
want to sign up on the spot to take advantage of all that
Toastmasters has to offer.
5. Volunteer to serve as a Mentor for the new club. Every new
club needs two Mentors to help get established during the first
6 months of operations. You will receive credit for your service.

To keep District 7 healthy and to become a President’s Distinguished District we need
to charter 14 more clubs. We can do it! Share your ideas now.
Talk Up Toastmasters: February 1— March 31
If you were at TLI on January 17th you heard Lance Miller’s
recommendation to hold a special meeting at least six times
a year. Here is the reason to make that happen in the next
two months. The "Talk Up Toastmasters" membership
program is the chance to encourage your members to invite
guests to a special meeting where prospective members can
learn about Toastmasters' many
benefits. Then add five new, dual or reinstated members with
a join date between February 1 and March 31, and you’ll
receive a special "Talk up Toastmasters" ribbon to display on
your club’s banner. Qualifying clubs can also earn a special
discount code for 10-percent off their next club order. To
sweeten the pot, the first six clubs to add five new members
will receive Lance Miller’s CD “Effective Speech Evaluation.”
Applications and payments for members with a join date between February 1 and
March 31 must be received at World Headquarters or online no later than March 31. The
addition of transfer and charter members does not count for credit toward “Talk Up
Toastmasters” credit.
The winning clubs will be revealed online within a few weeks of the submission
deadline. Winning clubs should allow up to 10 business days to receive their award.
