Speechcraft . . . . A Taste of Toastmasters

The New York Toastmasters Club has 55 members and a waiting list for new
members to join. You can read their story New York Toastmasters Club.

Have you ever had that “problem” in your club? From my experience, most
clubs are always on the lookout for new members. Speechcraft is an excel-
lent way to give prospective members a “taste of Toastmasters” in a seminar
or workshop environment, instead of our usual, ongoing membership meetings.
However, upon completion of Speechcraft, it is highly probable that you can con-
vert them to full members. It is a great way to ind new members AND meet

one of the requirements for your AC Gold award.

The complete starter kit to run a Speechcraft for ive people is only $20, and P.J. Kleffner, DTM
you can buy additional materials as needed for extra participants. The good
news is you can get a starter kit absolutely free!

All you need to do is:

Discuss it with your club
Schedule it

Promote it

Contact me at speechcraft@d7toastmasters.org for your free kit

If you have any questions, send an email or give me a call. I currently have Convert
eight complete kits, so don’t delay.
