Becky Holm “I have been a Toastmaster for almost two
years. I am a charter member of my Wonderful Oregon
Wordmasters (WOW) club in Sutherlin. I
became a part of Toastmasters not Area 21
because I was frightened about
speaking in front of a group, but because
Becky Holm I wasn’t afraid. I did, and do know that
Area 21 Governor the areas that I need to work on are
“fluency” and critical listening
skills. The Table Topics address my desire to become
more fluent and signing up to do evaluations let me
exercise my listening skills. When I was asked to
take on the role of Area 21 Governor (AG) I decided
to “just do it!” My goal as AG is to visit the clubs
frequently, to be available when needed and be a
help when and where I can.”
