Can You See Us Now?

Does your club regularly receive guests? Did they visit your website
before choosing to attend your meeting? With only 5 seconds to grab a
viewer’s interest, dynamic content is crucial. People don't read websites, they scan them.
Your most important information should be front and center.

 When and where do you meet?

 How do you reach the club contact?

 What is the compelling reason to visit your
club?

 Are their engaging photos of members in
action?

 What does your website say about your
club?

Websites are expected. In a 2012 survey 85% of
consumers used the Internet to find local businesses. Now more than ever its important
to have a strong online presence. Websites lower the barriers to participation and help
you gain members. The more often you update your website the more active you appear
to be.

District 7 Offers to Create Club Websites

Are you one of the 80 District 7 clubs that does not have a club website? Over half of the
clubs with 12 or less members do not have a currently branded FreeToastHost 2.0
website. I have heard from some members that they don’t have anyone in their club with
the skills or desire to get a website up and running.

District 7 is contracting to provide websites to those clubs in need of one. All clubs are
encouraged to have a current website to market their club and take advantage of the
member features such as meeting agendas. All clubs without FreeToastHost websites
will be offered a club website. If you want your club added to the list please fill out the
form.

you are a leader.” – John Quincy Adams
