“I joined Toastmasters to overcome the fear of leadership and
public speaking. Now, I love both! I want the members of
Area 95 to have a great year- to set and achieve new goals
they set for themselves! I am willing to do what I can to make
that happen.”

Jesse Martinez “I joined Toastmasters
because of the two areas that Toastmasters
help an individual grow, communication and
leadership. These two areas are
critically important in my
c hosen c areer path. I Area 96

personally am not aware of
an organization that is a better value in terms
of this type of development. My goal for area 96 is for
the clubs to grow in their membership.” Area 91

Tom Knapp “I joined Toastmasters in August 2012 for two reasons. I authentically Area 94

wanted to get better at communicating, though more on a personal level than in
front of a group. Also, since I was getting my MBA online, I wanted to
make sure to get some sort of social educational experience to
compliment my online studies. As the current Area 92 Governor, my
goal is primarily to improve membership since I know how good
Toastmasters can be for people and that a respectively sized pool of
members can make meetings so much more fun. A minor goal of mine i s
to see what I can do to improve communication between clubs so that Tom Knapp, ACS
everyone can meet more Toastmasters and better learn from others .” Area 92 Governor Area 95

members.
