Jennifer SouIagnet I joined Toastmasters as a way to get more
practice doing something I already enjoyed. But I stay in Toastmas-
ters because I love watching people change themselves and their
world with practice and support from their club members. It's excit-
ing to witness so many positive transformations! One of my
main goals is to help streamline the planning and promo-
tion of contests this year to free up Area Governors in the
Division to visit their clubs more often and help them Jennifer Soulagnet
with their number one priority, which is always attract- ACS, ALB
ing and retaining members. Division F Governor

Jasmine Ortiz “I joined Toastmasters because
I wanted to improve my public speaking skills
Area 73 but also to increase my networking
abilities. I’m a very shy person by nature and I
felt that this would be a safe environment to
practice coming out of my shell. This year I
hope to gain more understanding of the
Jasmine Ortiz Toastmasters organization and help clubs

Area 71 Governor improve. If I see something that is working
Area 71 for one club I will definitely forward that
knowledge along. If I see something that could use
improvement, I will do my best to examine possible solutions. I
know we all have strengths and we grow only when we help
others improve.”
Alyce Dunham joined Toastmasters in 2008. She has
served in all club officer roles, and is a frequent contest
judge throughout the District. She is currently a
member of Sage Beaverton, and has earned her
Advanced Communicator Bronze and her
Area 76 Advanced Leader Bronze. Alyce previously served as
area governor twice for Sunset Division. After a two-
year hiatus, Alyce has once again stepped
forward to fill an opening in in Area 72. She
plans to help her clubs continue to grow
membership and work with them
towards achieving President’s
Distinguished.
