short, the host will ask you
to expand on them.
• For both parties

• Pretend you are chatting on
your back deck with a close
friend. There’s no pressure
here, just a conversation.

• Aim to be natural and at ease
in your speech and posture.
• The right clothing can
boost your comfort level,

too. Consider wearing your
favorite shirt (or blouse) to
bring a familiar feel to this
new situation.

Well in advance the host will
share more details with each
guest about what to wear and
what to do, and once in the studio

the floor director will no doubt
have last-minute instructions
and words of encouragement.
Got all that? Now, quiet on

the set, and roll cameras!
