Finishing the Year Strong

Toastmasters International has updated the numbers. District 7 is in the
home stretch. At the finish line is Distinguished District. Why do we care? It means our
members are reaching their goals. They are completing manuals, taking on leadership

roles and starting new clubs. This makes for more clubs and
stronger clubs; both are a benefit to our members.

What do we need to do to finish the year as a Distinguished
District? If you have not paid your club dues, please pay them.
If you are the club treasurer and there are outstanding dues,
please collect and submit them. Welcome all your guests and
convert them to members.

All of us help by completing manuals and submitting educational awards. If you are
having difficulties finding a speaking slot in your club contact me at
lgm@d7toastmasters.org. I will find you a speaking slot in another club. There is still
time to complete your goals and help District 7 finish strong.

It’s Not Too Late to Start a New Club

Have you said, we should
have a Toastmasters club
at work? How about where
your spouse works? Have
you wished for a specialty
club that does not exist?
How about a community
club? I can help you start
that club. There is still time
to earn credit for your
Advanced Leader Silver
award by sponsoring a
new club.
