District Recipients for the “Of the Year” Awards

Every year we look back across the District to identify those who stood out from the rest!

Toastmasters of the Year - is awarded to individuals that have served the best

Leanna Lindquist interests of the members of District 7 above and beyond the requirements of

their position in District 7.

Erik Bergstrom Division Governor /Director of the Year – is awarded to individuals who have had
a positive, motivational force in the District in addition within their Area.

Ginger Killion Area Governors/Directors of the Year – is awarded to individuals that have had a
David Johnson positive, motivating force in their Area and the District. They have had successful
Area contests and quantifiable results in the Area in membership, educational
accomplishments, dues paid, and Area visits to clubs.

Gary Schmidt Lou Webb Award – is awarded to individuals dedicated to serving the District

Karen O’Keefe Herb C. Stude Educational Service Award – is awarded to individuals who
Patrick Locke have delivered the most educational service to District 7 members, whether
through educational modules or educational sessions at District meetings and
conferences.

Rookie of the Year – is awarded at District level for contagious enthusiasm and
energy

Congratulations to all!

Every good celebration ends with a memorable remark. James Wantz gave us some great advice from his
experience with Fred & Imelda; The Life & Death of 2 flies:
“Don’t go flying off the handle if you are full of baloney!”
