Come and enjoy the Division A (Southern Division) Evaluation and International Prepared Speech Contests! We welcome volunteers to serve as timers, ballot counters, sergeant-at-arms, and judges.
Everyone is invited to attend the Sunset Division International Speech and Evaluation Contest being held on Saturday April 11th from 1:00 until 4:00pm at the Tektronix Auditorium in Building 38, 3025 SW Zworykin Avenue, Beaverton, OR 97077.
This event is being hosted by the Silicon Forest Toastmaster Club. A light lunch and beverage will be provided.

Come see the Downtown Division International Speech and Evaluation contestants strut their stuff. We usually fill the auditorium with family, friends, and other guests–and we would love for you to join us! If nothing else, come scope out the competition–as two of them will end up representing us at the District finals on May 2.
The Central Division International Speech and Evaluation Contest will be held in the Community Room at the Lebanon Public Library. Doors open at 10:00 AM. Contestants and contest officials should arrive by 10:30 AM. The contest will begin at 11:00 AM.
The potluck will begin at 2:30 pm. All contestants and functionaries should plan to arrive by 2:30. The location is Courtyard Village, 4555 NE 66th Ave, Vancouver, WA 98661. We will start as soon as we can, since many of our people have to get back to the coast.

Siuslaw Tale Spinners Club will be hosting an all-day workshop led by Eric Winger. The morning session (9-12) will feature public speaking tips for the novice and professional alike. Lunch break from 12noon to 1:30. There are many downtown restaurants from which to choose within walking distance. The afternoon session (1:30-4:30) will have Eric teaching evaluation “how to” by guiding evaluations for speeches delivered by Siuslaw Tale Spinners members.
